More Family Fun

Back up to Los Angeles one more time to hang out with more family. This time to say goodbye to Keith, Lea and Finn and visit with Papa, Aunt Debbie and Uncle Jim. It was a hot humid day, so we splashed each other in the cooled jacuzzi, went on wagon rides, and played on Jessica's new play equipment. And of course we had a TON of great food, don't we always?

Aunt Debbie and Grandma Linda overheating.

Papa in his favorite spot.

Finn is that a smile behind that juice cup?

A Divine Day

Summertime is a great time to visit and catch up with tons of family. Uncle Keith, Aunt Lea Marise and Cousin Finn came out from Kansas City for a visit before baby boy number two comes along. Watching all the boys play together was so sweet, Luke kinda doing his own thing and interacting every once and a while, Kyle crawling everywhere and grabbing all the toys and Finn hoarding and not wanting to share, grandma and grandpa reveling in every moment, Colin removing objects from mouths and Kevin MIA at work (sorry Kevin). I can't wait until a few years when they are all talking and running around wreeking havoc, ha! We have some great videos that we'll need to share as well, you are a star Lea!

Grandpa Pat and Luke glued to the movie Star Wars.

Finnen Michael you are a doll!

"Finn, it was very nice of you to share your daddy for a while."

"Daddy Keith I just want to squish your face."

Story time with grandpa.

Fabulous Fourth At The Fair

What better way to celebrate the 4th of July than at a hometown, old fashioned fair. (Okay it's really in Del Mar where the surf meets the turf but it still feels old fashioned to us.) We watched pig races, went on rides, ate corn dogs, ice cream and cinnamon rolls, watched monster trucks and BMX dirt bikes flip in the air, checked out the cows, turkeys and rabbits and walked through the hobby and woodworking exhibits. Luke even ran into a few buddies of his from Star Wars. Once home, we enjoyed a blast of fireworks from our balcony set off at our local park. Happy Birthday America and God Bless!

"Mom's gone country, like her hat?"

"Let me kiss this 4th of July baby."

Notice the river of vanilla ice cream running down his arm....nice!

Hanging Out With The Jones's

Matt's sister Michelle and her family, uncle Jeff, cousins Brandon and Jordan, came down from Oregon for a week visit with Grand Judy. Luke had a blast playing with his cousins and Jordan just wanted to "hold and feed the baby". Luke and Brandon reenacted the light saber battle scenes from Star Wars the whole day.

The Cousin Crew!

And He Sleeps.....

The Kyle man, 10 months old now and counting, doesn't take very long naps, but every once in a while he can take a doosey. This particular nap was enjoyed on moms bed (of course) and nothing, not even his much loved brother Luke could wake him up.

"Don't you just love baby feet."

"A kiss from big brother."
