The Hanson family was in full Charger gear at the start of the season opener on September 7th. The boys donning their LT jerseys while mom opted for the quarterback Philip Rivers jersey. Sadly enough, Chargers couldn't pull off a win and got knocked off in the final seconds of the game. Kyle was too preoccupied by his beverage in his sippy cup and Luke spent most of the game practicing his kicks with a squishy ball in the living room. Much to our dismay, we just witnessed another crushing defeat in week two by the Broncos after a ref blew two calls in favor of the Broncos. It is going to be a LONG season. Let's get going Chargers!

Luke Starts Junior Kindergarten
September 2nd Luke started Junior Kindergarten and it could not have come any sooner. As summer winded down we were getting a bit antsy around the house with the same old routine and toys. Luke was so excited to start school and be in a bigger class with more structure and a new teacher, Ms. Nichols. He has his own desk with supplies, a little bit of homework each week and gets a turn at being one of the classroom leaders each week. He has already been the Prayer Leader, Line Leader and Flag Leader. The class will focus on the alphabet, writing skills, some simple math and following instructions. It's going to be a great year!
