Take Me Out to the Ballgame

May 21st we decided to attend our first Padre game of the season AND first baseball game for Mr. Kyle. We met up with Grandpa Pat and Grandma Carol to celebrate her birthday. The pitiful Padres were playing the St. Louis Cardinals (cheers from Carol and Uncle Keith). We didn't think the game would be very exciting but boy were we wrong. This is the game Chris Young got popped in the face with a line drive and Josh Bard was run over by Pujols. Then Wally Joyner got tossed out of the game, and we had several foul balls hit our way. So it wasn't a dull game after all (Padres did lose big though). Kyle did pretty well, not a kid who is going to sit in your lap for 2-3 hours, he fell asleep for a while, and liked watching all the people. Luke loved every minute. We stayed for the 7th inning stretch and then headed home.
